What happens at The Playhouse….stays at The Playhouse!
Get ready for a Vegas style production complete with video and a full orchestra with a conductor!  Like Tony Bennett, Engelbert Humperdinck might be the next legendary artist to be rediscovered by a younger generation!  Humperdinck has recorded everything from the most romantic ballads to the platinum-selling theme song "Lesbian Seagull" for the latest Beavis and Butthead movie.  The British native became a music sensation in the '60s with hit songs such as "Release Me,” “After the Lovin," "The Last Waltz," "Am I That Easy to Forget?" and “A Man Without Love.”  He’s now finishing work on an album of duets with well-known a lot of fantastic young, hip and surprising collaborations – including Sir Elton John, and Seal -  that will be released this year.  Engelbert has been a major figure in music for more than four decades and has won the hearts of listeners throughout the world with his silky voice, sense of humor and stellar live performances. Among his achievements are several GRAMMY Award® nominations and a Golden Globe for Entertainer of the Year in 1988, 63 gold and 24 platinum records and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  Don’t miss the chance to see this international music icon in an intimate performance!
