Is she or is she not the marrying kind? Find out who tames whom in Shakespeare’s uproarious comedy of the battle of the sexes.
Directed by Kurt Rhoads.
The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival has inspired and delighted audiences with its vigorously original interpretations of the great works of William Shakespeare for twenty-three seasons. HVSF relieves the burden of heavy language and over- dramatization that so many equate with Shakespeare, making it the perfect show for adults and children alike. The region’s only professional resident Shakespeare Company, HVSF, makes its home under an open- air tent theater perched high up on the banks of the Hudson River on the grounds of the historic 19th Century Boscobel estate in Garrison, New York. Each year The Ridgefield Playhouse offers this show free to the community maintaining a commitment to making the timeless plays of Shakespeare accessible to all audiences.

Tickets are free but must be reserved in advance by calling the box office (203) 438-5795. There is a limit of 5 tickets per family.
